Re: VICEN Trainee Survey
Dear trainee,
The Victorian Intensive Care Education Network was created to support you, the CICM trainees of Victoria. Historically, VICEN has facilitated monthly face-to-face education events at different units around the state. This has given trainees exposure to niche critical care subspecialties that they may otherwise not have access to. It has also provided opportunities for networking and social interaction beyond their home units.
The pandemic restrictions and workload have severely impacted recent events and the remaining events of the year are likely to be run online. However, it is likely that face to face education will return next year as the state ‘opens up’.
We want VICEN events to continue providing face-to-face learning opportunities that would be otherwise hard for trainees to access. We would like to understand your learning needs and preferences in order to create events that are appealing, useful and accessible.
